We hope that you have been keeping safe and well in these last few weeks; in light of the current nationwide lock-down aimed at stopping the spread of COVID-19. This has clearly been a strange and unprecedented time for all; a time to observe the stringent measures that have been put in place yet take the opportunity to connect with our family and friends online.
Like everyone else, we are looking forward to when things return to normal. And we can resume our usual routines. Whilst it’s difficult to know when this might be, we have been thinking about how we will manage our business and continue to deliver the level of service that we pride ourselves on, in the weeks that follow the lifting of the restrictions.
The health and safety of our team, our customers and our community are our number one priority at this time. When we are allowed to resume our work, we will be implementing a booking procedure to ensure that we play our part in keeping people safe. If you’d like to book your bike in for a service or repair, we’d like you to please follow the below procedure:
1. Bookings are essential.
You can book your bike in for a service or repair in any of the following ways:
- Emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
- Calling Annette on 082 783 6357
- Using the Book Now function on the ScootCafé Facebook page
- Using the Service or Repair Booking form on the ScootCafé website
2. A booking date and time will be agreed with you.
At the confirmed time, please bring your bike to our workshop at 5 Latsky St (near the garage door entry). Please do not enter the workshop, but rather wait for someone to assist you.
3. Observing social distancing.
One of our team will ask you what service you require and will discuss anything they need to know in regards repairs. And rest assured that they will wipe down all surfaces with disinfectant – following advice from the World Health Organisation for health and safety in the workplace – to help protect us all while working on your bike.
4. Repairs and collection.
If we find that your bike requires further work, we will call you first to discuss this. When your bike is ready to collect, our team will call you to arrange collection in a way that upholds our health and safety practices.
We hope that by following these steps it will both protect and enable us in doing our bit in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We’d like to thank you in advance for your support in regards this and for observing our health and safety processes and booking procedure.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Stay safe and stay well.
Simon, Annette and the ScootCafé Team.
